New baby goats...

In our small world here on the farm, we have had good news.
Some celebrate good Friday, we celebrate good news and today's good news comes in the form of four baby goats.

Two came in the night yesterday, both boys, black and white.
Even though their mother is brown and long eared, they came out just like their dad, our proud billy goat.

The other two came this morning in the early hours, both white, from a white mother. Im not one to take favourites, but the white ones have such a piggy face and pink noses they are just so adorable.

Here is Mother Donkey, and meet baby no.1

We haven't named them all yet, just getting to know them first, this is them enjoying their first day of sun as it sets.

Here is Mother Donkey again.

This one is absolutely cute and came to say hi to me, the others were too shy.

Amongst all the exciting news of new babies, we are waiting for new ones soon to come.

Ive been doing a great job recently collecting the peppermint i found growing along the pathways, potting some up and replanting some outside my garden.
It was only today did i start to get a pain in my side, a pain i used to get a lot when i was pregnant.
So i put it down to a mild case of stones in my right kidney.

Luckily i picked some lemons from my tree the other day, coupled with the mint i made a lovely fresh cup of tea before dinner and have been flush drinking water like crazy, it seems to have cleared up nicely, although i won't be stopping my mint tea in a rush, it was so refreshing.

Mint tea has a lovely soothing effect on the stomach, cramps and seems a good kidney tonic cleanser.

I recommend you try a cup of mint tea with a slice of lemon, build your immunity with Vitamin C.

Blessings and keep well.. More goaty updates coming soon..
