This is Dan and my first song uploaded to the internet Imbolc. He made the tune, i sang the vocals. 
The words were of reflection from the great fire we experienced in our village, we couldn't leave our village,  it was unsafe to travel, so we stayed and fought the fire with garden hoses, and saved our village. 

There was 10 meters left until it burnt my house down. 
The most terrifying experience of my life, where i came face to face with the fire that almost took our life away. How events can change your spirit when you are in the middle of a situation like this. I thank the stars everyday, and believe something was watching over us.

A song of strength...







This one is Vision. It is about seeing yourself in a new light.



                                            






Now.. 
For my acoustic guitar sessions, the first music i ever wrote when i was 18... 
I wrote this song for my partner (at the time) Lyle, he has been my biggest inspiration to life, he died in South Africa doing samaritan work for children, a sad story for many, his magic soul will be missed by many. Maybe one day i will write a book for him and our magickal journey we took together, and how he showed me how to love.

Poetry



  When i was using Facebook, i found myself posting up random words from my heart, on the spot. People commented lots to this and said maybe i should collect them up and make a book.

  In time my biography will develop, but to amuse myself before then, i will use this space to post up random heart spills, of my experiences here, and in my journey in life.

 There is this great shift, between worlds a void.. filled with sounds that linger in space,
  A great unknown time, gradual pull then push flower of the sun...

  my nature world blending me into the space between..
  my human is the best recording of my face

  the echo around me, the void is floatless.
  i have become the filled essence,

  gently lifting me up, endless possibility, hanging in silence..
  what greatness, yet what nothing..

   letting go....

   Come in and pull me to you...
    Test my strength inside and out
   Show me that you believe to be true,
    Give me my breath and learn to shout...

  My skin feels your invisible touch...
    My hair knows your powerful voice
  In time your whisper sings in my clutch
    as i hold the door without a choice...

  My home rattles, the windows roar
    The cage my body closed tight..
  your ever constant push and more..
    I hear your song through the night

  In a dream you fill a form..
   closer i get to touch you..
in the darkness you are born..
   i reach to embrace, but fall through...

 Oh wind will i ever really know you..
   Come rain and wash the night clear
 Storm freshen the day new..
    unknowing, unsettled i fight the fear

Elderflower cordial

You know its spring time when... the warm mornings bring light rain, thunder and lightning in the afternoon. I love being up in the high mountains at this time of year, we really do witness a storm brewing above our heads.  You watch the West come in, the East combine and then cracks of thunder pierce the skies, it excites me so much, makes you realise the power of nature.  We watched the storm approaching when we were out picking elderflowers, we have elder tree's all over our village. We brought our handmade basket i made from grape vines, i snipped the flower while my little daughter collected them up.  Boiling water to make our cordial while we watched the lightning fork the sky. Recipe for Elderflower Cordial    25 heads of elder flowers    Zest of 3 oranges and lemons and their juices    1 kg of sugar Directions:-  Boil 1.5 litres of water and sit the flowers in a bowl covered overnight to infuse.                      The next day, strain

More Art on the way

 The stone piece decides the paintings... This is one of many Owls i have had the pleasure of painting... It stands roughly 2 feet tall, and 2 feet in the longest part of length..   It is for sale, although most of my art hasn't got time to stick around and collect dust before it gets sold. This Peacock has been painted on 1.5 feet by 2 feet slate stone... This peacock has already been sold, a day after it was created.. All my paintings on stone have been applied using Gouache watercolour paints. I hope you enjoy the many more I have waiting within my paint brushes.. Watch this space to see what will be next..
